- What does Kaviaan Hospitality actually do?
We work on the owner's side of a hotel: feasibility and market studies, asset management, operator search and selection, development advisory and day-to-day operational problem-solving for hotels and resorts.
- Do you work with owners or with brands?
Owners. We are paid by the owner and answer to the owner, so our advice is weighed against returns and risk rather than a brand's expansion targets.
- When should we bring you into a project?
Ideally before the land or building is committed. Market and feasibility work tells you what to build, where and at what scale. We also come in later, on assets that are already trading and need repositioning.
- Which markets do you cover?
Central India primarily - Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh - with projects across tier-1, tier-2 and tier-3 cities nationwide. We take on work elsewhere in India where the brief fits.
- How long does a typical engagement take?
A market study or operator search usually runs six to ten weeks. Development advisory and asset management are longer engagements measured against a defined programme, often to opening and beyond.
